This is for you if...
You love your kid fiercely. You also feel completely lost sometimes. You're not a bad parent — you're a parent who hasn't been given the right tools.
And the guilt that follows. You don't know if you handled it right. Nobody tells you what "right" even looks like.
You're fighting battles on their behalf, translating your child to the world, and doing it all on empty.
And most of them feel clinical, cold, or completely irrelevant to your actual child, in your actual house.
The masking, the sensory stuff, the social struggles. You want to support them without accidentally making it worse.
Properly. Without it ending in a standoff. You want them to feel safe with you — and know that they are.
And you want to raise them in a way that protects that — not squashes it into a neurotypical mould.
Your guide
I'm Laura Maelstrom — neurodiversity specialist teacher, MSc Psychology, coach, and the first UK solo autistic researcher to conduct research into autism. I'm also autistic myself. I'm not teaching this from a textbook. I'm teaching it from inside the experience.
I spent over a decade in education supporting neurodivergent young people, watching parents struggle not because they didn't care — but because nobody gave them a framework that actually made sense of their child's brain. This course is that framework.
It's psychology-backed, trauma-informed, and delivered in the way I wish someone had handed me: straight-talking, warm, and actually useful.
What's inside
Eight modules. Real content. No fluff, no overwhelm — just the stuff that actually changes how you show up for your kid.
What you're getting
From parents who've worked with Laura
"Working with Laura completely changed how I see my son. I stopped trying to 'fix' him and started actually understanding him. It sounds simple but it changed everything in our house."— Parent of an 8-year-old, autistic with ADHD
"I've read so many parenting books and nothing landed until I got Laura's explanation of regulation. For the first time I felt equipped, not just informed."— Mum of a twice-exceptional 11-year-old
"Laura doesn't talk down to you. She gets it because she's lived it. That matters more than any qualification."— Dad on the autism assessment waiting list
